Equestrian Trainer – Riyadh

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Equestrian Trainer to join our state‑of‑the‑art facility in Riyadh. The successful candidate will train horses, coach riders of all levels, and support stable operations while upholding the highest standards of animal welfare and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Train horses according to their discipline, temperament and development needs.
• Provide riding lessons and coaching for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders.
• Prepare horses and riders for competitions, shows, endurance rides or private training goals.
• Develop individualized training programmes for both horses and riders.
• Monitor horse fitness, behaviour, performance and overall wellbeing.
• Assist with exercising, lunging, groundwork, schooling and conditioning.
• Identify training issues, behavioural problems or health concerns and report them promptly.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, farriers, grooms and stable staff.
• Maintain clean, safe training areas, arenas, tack rooms and equipment.
• Advise on suitable tack, feed, turnout, exercise schedules and care routines.
• Support horse selection, evaluation and purchase when required.
• Keep accurate records of horse and rider progress, health observations and training schedules.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional equestrian training experience.
• Strong riding ability with proven horse‑training skills.
• Experience teaching riders of different ages and levels.
• Good knowledge of horse health, behaviour, nutrition and stable routines.
• Experience in at least one discipline such as show jumping, dressage, endurance or flatwork.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Willingness to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
