ES&H Advisor / Occupational Hygienist

About the role

The ES&H Advisor / Occupational Hygienist will lead industrial hygiene initiatives on a large green‑field gold mining project in Saudi Arabia. Using scientific methods and industry best practices, you will protect workers from health hazards and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Industrial Hygiene component of the ESH program, including technical and administrative tasks.
• Prepare and implement the Safety and Health Management Plan, related procedures, and training programs.
• Provide IH input to engineering, construction, procurement, commissioning and other cross‑functional teams.
• Interpret and integrate IH requirements into proposals, risk assessments and project documents.
• Research regulatory requirements, conduct studies, risk assessments and produce detailed reports.
• Support IH studies, program reviews, audits and emergency preparedness activities.
• Perform incident investigations and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience establishing industrial hygiene programs on complex, large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health regulations and standards.
• Ability to conduct research, analyze data, track performance trends and influence bid decisions.
• Excellent communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
