ETL Developer – Data Integration Specialist

About the role

The ETL Developer will design, build, and maintain robust data ingestion pipelines and ETL processes that support enterprise‑wide integration and analytics initiatives. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure data quality, performance, and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data ingestion pipelines and ETL processes using SSIS, Informatica BDM, or native tools.
• Create and manage workflows with orchestration tools such as Control‑M to automate and scale data delivery.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all source and target systems.
• Develop complex T‑SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for transformation and integration.
• Monitor performance, recommend configuration or infrastructure improvements, and tune ETL jobs.
• Troubleshoot high‑impact data issues through detailed analysis of business and system processes.
• Design logical and physical data models to support enterprise data architecture.
• Establish coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards for ETL solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and data requirements.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in ETL development and data engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
• Proven experience with solution engineering, data modeling, and operations.
• Hands‑on experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Control‑M) and data‑quality frameworks.
• Familiarity with Hadoop distributions (Cloudera, MapR, Hortonworks) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
