Freelance Biology & Python Expert for AI Training

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Biology & Python expert to help design and evaluate AI training problems that mimic real-world biological research workflows. This project‑based role is remote and ideal for specialists who enjoy combining computational biology with Python programming.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational biology problems that simulate real research workflows.
• Create Python‑based challenges using libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, BioPython, and Pandas.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
• Develop tasks that require non‑trivial reasoning in bioinformatics, systems biology, and molecular modeling.
• Base problems on actual research challenges or practical applications from biology practice.
• Verify solutions with Python code and standard computational biology libraries.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Biology or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in applied research, teaching, or industry.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1+).
• Experience with biological data analysis and algorithms.
• Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and computational methods.
