Event Sales Manager

About the role

The Event Sales Manager will drive new business for meetings, conferences, weddings and social events, managing the full sales cycle and ensuring seamless event execution.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for meetings, conferences, weddings and social events.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and event handover.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners and key stakeholders.
• Conduct hotel site inspections and client presentations.
• Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets for events and catering sales.
• Collaborate with Operations, Culinary and Events teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Prepare proposals, contracts and event quotations in line with hotel standards.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Event Sales, Catering Sales or Hotel Sales within an international hotel brand.
• Strong understanding of the Riyadh market and hospitality industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with hotel sales systems.
