Experienced Accountant (Odoo ERP) – Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensure compliance with Saudi VAT/ZATCA regulations, and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process transactions, manage GL, AP, and AR using Odoo ERP.
• Perform high‑volume customer, vendor, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments, provisions and adjustments.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing, trial balances and financial statement schedules.
• Handle VAT‑related transactions, reporting and tax invoices in line with ZATCA requirements.
• Support audit preparation, create supporting schedules and resolve audit queries.
• Produce accounting and financial reports and conduct detailed reconciliation analysis.
• Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes and resolve complex accounting issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on accounting experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Minimum 3 years of proven Odoo ERP experience in accounting/finance.
• IFRS certification and strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Solid experience with GL, AP, AR, accounts finalization and financial reporting.
• Expertise in complex reconciliations and Saudi VAT/ZATCA compliance.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced formulas, Pivot Tables and lookups.
• All academic and professional certificates must be verifiable; SOCPA membership is a plus.
