Expert Cloud Platform Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our Infrastructure team and lead the design and automation of resilient, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes‑based platforms across OCI, GCP and AWS.
• Drive GitOps adoption using ArgoCD (or similar) for automated deployments.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform, ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Automate configuration and operational tasks with Ansible.
• Develop and manage robust CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to support fast, secure software delivery.
• Collaborate with development, security and infrastructure teams to align platform solutions with business goals.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise infrastructure and deployment processes across cloud platforms.
• Enforce cloud security standards and governance within Kubernetes and related services.
• Maintain thorough documentation of designs, processes and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, networking, security, Helm).
• Proficiency with ArgoCD or other GitOps tools.
• Expertise in Terraform for multi‑cloud provisioning.
• Solid experience with Ansible for automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Deep knowledge of public cloud services on OCI, GCP and AWS.
• Proficient in Git and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud and Kubernetes environments.
