Fabrication Static Supervisor

About the role

The Fabrication Static Supervisor leads a team of technicians in the installation, maintenance and testing of static and fabricated equipment for oil & gas projects. This position ensures work is performed safely, on schedule, and to KBR’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive jobs, work instructions, drawings and specifications and execute the work.
• Lead and coordinate a team of technicians, ensuring proper tool selection and equipment usage.
• Operate heavy‑duty specialized tools and basic machine tools such as grinders, power saws, drill presses and threading machines.
• Perform installation and maintenance activities on static and fabrication systems following SATORP procedures.
• Carry out hydro and pneumatic testing, and obtain required work permits before starting tasks.
• Maintain strict compliance with SATORP safety standards and report near‑misses or unsafe conditions.
• Ensure good housekeeping during and after job completion.
• Attend toolbox talks, safety and technical training, and wear appropriate PPE.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of oil & gas maintenance experience (high school level) or 8 years with a diploma.
• Well‑organized, proactive, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to analyze recurring mechanical failures and recommend corrective actions.

Required skills

• Operation of grinders, power saws, drill presses and threading machines.
• Hydro testing and pneumatic testing of equipment.
• Fabrication and static equipment installation and maintenance.
