Fabricator – Heavy Structure & Mast Fabrication

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Fabricator to join our team, focusing on the fabrication of heavy structures such as masts, sub‑structures and mud‑systems for oil and gas projects. The role involves preparing layouts, cutting, beveling and assembling steel components while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Mark layouts for heavy structure fabrication.
• Cut and bevel beams, tubing, channels and angles using a gas torch.
• Grind bevels and edges to required angles.
• Use measurement tools (tape, levels, weld gauges) to verify dimensions.
• Inspect quantity and size of received material from the prep shop.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of fabrication experience in oil & gas projects.
• High school education (10th pass) or equivalent.
• Basic technical knowledge of materials and fabrication processes.
• Ability to understand basic English instructions.
• Familiarity with workshop safety procedures.

Required skills

• Gas torch cutting and beveling.
• Grinding of steel edges.
• Use of measurement tools such as tape measures, levels and weld gauges.
• Basic knowledge of welding, pressing and fit‑up techniques.
• Material handling and workplace safety.
