Fabricator

About the role

ABIS, a company in the Oil & Energy sector, is looking for a Fabricator to join its team in Al Jubail. The Fabricator plays a key role in fabricating, assembling and installing metal components and structures that meet industry standards and safety regulations. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.
• Cut, shape and assemble metal components using various tools and machinery.
• Weld, solder or join parts according to project specifications and safety standards.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain and operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors and team members to complete projects on time.
• Follow health and safety regulations strictly.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a fabricator, preferably in the Oil & Energy industry.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to fabrication work.

Required skills

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, welding equipment and fabrication machinery.
• Knowledge of metal properties and fabrication techniques.
