Facade Architect – Site Supervision

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Facade Architect to lead the design, engineering, and on‑site supervision of façade systems for commercial and residential projects in Riyadh. You will ensure installations meet design specifications, Saudi Building Code requirements, and quality standards while keeping projects on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Design and engineer façade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, and glazing, to satisfy project and code requirements.
• Supervise on‑site façade installation, verifying compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality‑control assessments, promptly addressing construction issues.
• Prepare and review technical documentation such as construction drawings, specifications, and material schedules.
• Coordinate façade work with architects, structural engineers, and contractors.
• Manage façade budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and training to on‑site teams on installation procedures and safety protocols.
• Document project progress through reports, photographs, and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in façade design, engineering, or architecture.
• Proven expertise with curtain‑wall, cladding, and glazing systems.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code, safety standards, and construction regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in on‑site supervision and quality control.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Experience using Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools.
• In‑depth knowledge of Saudi Building Code.
• Technical expertise in façade systems (curtain walls, cladding, glazing).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
