Facilities Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operation, safety, and upkeep of our facilities. The successful candidate will lead maintenance initiatives, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily facility operations to guarantee optimal functionality, safety, and cleanliness.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs; supervise repairs performed by internal staff and external contractors.
• Prepare, monitor, and control the facility budget, ensuring cost‑effective operations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
• Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Assist in space planning and layout optimization to maximize utilization.
• Promote sustainability initiatives and energy‑saving measures across all sites.
• Lead, train, and develop facility staff to achieve high performance.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct staff training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in facility management or a comparable role.
• Strong knowledge of facility management practices and building systems.
• Proven experience in budget management and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with facility management software.
• Advanced skills in the MS Office Suite.
