Facility Management Engineer

About the role

The Facility Management Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and reliability of building systems. You will support daily FM activities, conduct inspections, resolve technical issues, and guarantee compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
• Conduct routine inspections, identify maintenance needs and initiate corrective actions.
• Review and approve technical sub‑mittals, drawings, and maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors and internal teams for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot system failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes and company standards.
• Support energy‑efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Facility Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in facility operations or maintenance engineering.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and FM best practices.
• Proficiency with CAFM/CMMS systems and engineering software.
• Analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
