Factory Load Planning Leader

About the role

The Factory Load Planning Leader drives alignment between customer demand, production capacity, material readiness, and project priorities. This role ensures operational stability, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across the planning organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning activities to synchronize demand, factory capacity, production schedules, and material availability.
• Balance factory load and set operational priorities in line with project requirements and business targets.
• Monitor short‑, medium‑, and long‑term planning risks; initiate and track mitigation actions.
• Oversee MRP strategy, planning parameters, and SAP planning settings (lead times, safety stock, reorder points).
• Maintain master data accuracy and ensure alignment between operational needs and ERP system parameters.
• Govern milestone planning databases, track project milestones, and coordinate cross‑functional reviews.
• Support HSE reporting, KPI tracking, and data analysis through dashboards and risk‑tracking tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, material planning, supply chain or manufacturing operations.
• Professional certifications in Planning or Operations Management are a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with MRP strategy and planning parameter governance.
• Proficiency in configuring SAP planning settings (lead times, safety stock, reorder points).
• Data analysis and KPI tracking capabilities.
• Risk‑tracking tools and dashboard management.
