Faculty Member – Communication Skills (General Studies)

About the role

Prince Sultan University is seeking a motivated male faculty member to join the General Studies Department, focusing on Communication Skills. The role involves teaching undergraduate courses and supporting students in developing effective communication across academic, professional and social contexts.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in public speaking, interpersonal communication and professional writing.
• Design and deliver student‑centered, interactive lessons that promote active participation.
• Advise and mentor students on communication strategies and academic success.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, assessment and outreach activities.
• Engage in research and scholarly activities related to communication.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Communication, Media Studies, English or a closely related field (Ph.D. strongly encouraged).
• Demonstrated experience teaching communication or related subjects at the tertiary level.
• Strong interpersonal and mentoring abilities with diverse student populations.
• Commitment to innovative teaching practices and continuous professional development.
