Field Compliance Coordinator (Gas Plants / Construction Safety)

About the role

Eram Talent is looking for experienced Field Compliance Coordinators to support oil and gas operations in gas plants (environmental) and construction safety. The role ensures compliance with HSE policies, environmental regulations, company standards and industry best practices, and promotes a proactive safety and environmental culture across field operations. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, environmental regulations and applicable industry standards.
• Conduct field inspections, audits and compliance assessments across gas plant and construction activities.
• Monitor and support Permit-to-Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), hazard identification, risk assessments and safe work practices.
• Coordinate environmental monitoring, waste management, spill response, incident investigations and corrective action tracking.
• Implement and maintain Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
• Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, safety and environmental awareness programs and contractor training.
• Prepare compliance reports, analyse inspection findings and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, HSE, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• 10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 7 years in the oil and gas industry, preferably in gas plants, construction or mega projects.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor or equivalent are highly preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EMS, SMS, Process Safety Management (PSM) and applicable HSE regulations.
• Hands-on experience in field inspections, audits, hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective action management.
• Experience with PTW, LOTO, environmental monitoring, waste management, emergency response and contractor compliance.
• Ability to develop and deliver HSE training, toolbox talks and awareness programs.
