Field Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

The Field Cybersecurity Engineer will implement, monitor and maintain cybersecurity controls for on‑site IT and OT environments, protecting critical systems from cyber threats. This hands‑on role supports deployment, integration and ongoing operations while ensuring compliance with security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls for site‑based IT/OT systems.
• Support installation, configuration and hardening of networks, servers and endpoints.
• Monitor security events, logs and alerts; assist incident response.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and drive remediation actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST and other security frameworks.
• Coordinate with IT, engineering and site teams for secure system integration.
• Support security testing, audits and system commissioning.
• Maintain security documentation, reports and site records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT or a related field (diploma not acceptable).
• 10 + years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
• Hands‑on experience with security tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS and endpoint protection.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Ability to mobilize immediately and work in field or project‑based environments.
