Field Service Engineer I

About the role

The Field Service Engineer I will provide technical expertise and consultancy at customer sites, installing, troubleshooting, configuring and optimizing CCC products and systems. The role also includes training customers on proper product usage.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑commissioning activities such as system checkout, instrumentation calibration, loop checks and communication testing.
• Conduct machinery testing, control‑loop tuning and troubleshooting within customer processes.
• Apply advanced mathematical and thermodynamic calculations to analyze machine performance.
• Provide remote technical support and systems‑engineering assistance.
• Deliver technology transfer training to customer operating and engineering staff.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to support the full product lifecycle and customer experience.
• Complete required administrative tasks (expenses, reports, aftermarket support).
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 1‑3 years of experience with turbo‑machinery control systems (compressors, steam/gas turbines, expanders, generators) and process control preferred.
• Proficiency with computers and networking; programming skills are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics concepts.
• Basic training skills; experience with safety systems or TUV certification is a plus.
• Fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
• Certified to work offshore or willing to complete required training.
