Field Trainer & Capability Development Specialist

About the role

Chalhoub Group, a luxury retailer with over 10 owned brands and more than 950 stores across the Middle East, is hiring a Specialist - Field Trainer & Capability Development in Riyadh. The role drives frontline capability development across Brand KSA's direct retail and distribution channels, focusing on field-based coaching and practical learning so teams have the product knowledge, selling skills and customer engagement abilities needed to support commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analysis and create, coordinate and implement an annual capability and training calendar aligned with business objectives, seasonal priorities and new product launches.
• Research, gather and localize Brand training materials with the regional training team, and deliver product, brand and selling skills training across retail and distribution channels.
• Use brand digital learning tools and analyze training data and capability assessments to identify learning gaps and recommend development interventions.
• Develop learning interventions covering customer consultation, product storytelling, demonstrations, objection handling, conversion, cross-selling, upselling and clienteling.
• Partner with commercial and retail leadership to turn performance gaps into capability initiatives, using mystery shopper findings and customer feedback.
• Maintain a strong field presence with regular store and point-of-sale visits, providing hands-on coaching to Store Managers, Supervisors and distribution channel leaders.
• Support frontline teams during new product launches, promotions and key trading periods, and monitor the impact of interventions on productivity and customer experience.
• Build a coaching framework for Store Managers and Supervisors, and establish and lead a network of Training Ambassadors and Champions across channels.
