Finance Assistant / Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Finance Assistant / Specialist to support the finance department of a manufacturing operation located in the 3rd Industrial City, Jeddah. The role involves handling daily accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with Saudi tax regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable, perform 3‑way matching, maintain AP aging and vendor sub‑ledgers, and reconcile monthly vendor statements.
• Assist with accounts receivable, issue e‑invoices in line with ZATCA regulations, and prepare VAT draft working papers.
• Collect and archive documentation for quarterly VAT, withholding tax and corporate income tax filings; support audits and tax inspections.
• Download bank statements, prepare bank reconciliations and review employee expense claims for compliance.
• Enter vouchers, expenses and journal entries into SAP while ensuring all tax and financial records are stored locally.
• Perform other finance‑related tasks as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Saudi national (mandatory).
• Valid membership with the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• 1–3+ years of finance experience, preferably in manufacturing; fresh graduates may be considered.
• Strong attention to detail, compliance awareness and ability to work onsite in Jeddah.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel for financial ledgers.
• SAP data entry and journal processing.
• VAT filing and e‑invoicing according to ZATCA rules.
