Finance Controller Associate

About the role

Join a collaborative finance control team responsible for the financial oversight of a legal entity. As a Finance Controller Associate you will work across multiple lines of business, supporting end‑to‑end legal entity controllership and regulatory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly legal entity accounting and control, including month‑end close, parent/child accounting, equity pick‑up, inter‑entity break reviews and GL balance monitoring.
• Conduct analytical month‑end reviews, prepare financial statements, contribute to the Monthly Controller’s Book and provide commentary for regulatory reporting.
• Investigate and resolve ad‑hoc queries and issues.
• Assist with Booking Model reviews and ensure compliance with Legal Entity Control standards.
• Control intercompany activity, provide variance commentary, and monitor consolidation and netting.
• Participate in firm‑wide legal entity reporting projects, process improvements and other controller initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3+ years of finance/accounting experience.
• Strong accounting and analytical acumen with the ability to explain income‑statement and balance‑sheet variances.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑level presentation preparation.
• Proactive work ethic, high attention to detail, ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
