Finance Director

About the role

The group is seeking a Finance Director to lead the institutionalisation and financial management of its diversified, asset‑heavy portfolio. This senior position will act as the "Finance Architect" driving the transformation of the finance function to international standards while overseeing real‑estate transactions and high‑growth subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial structuring and due diligence for large‑scale real‑estate acquisitions and development projects, including SPV oversight and capital‑structure design.
• Drive the transition to IFRS, standardise group‑wide reporting, and implement robust monthly close processes.
• Oversee portfolio performance, providing the Board with IRR, NPV and capital‑allocation analysis across multiple sectors.
• Manage treasury and debt strategy, cultivating relationships with regional banks to secure project financing and optimise group liquidity.
• Provide strategic financial leadership to international operating platforms, ensuring working‑capital efficiency and institutional‑grade discipline.

Required profile

• 12+ years of senior finance leadership in an investment firm, holding company, private‑equity group or dedicated real‑estate investment arm.
• Proven track record of structuring and executing large real‑estate investment deals.
• Demonstrated experience professionalising finance departments and building institutional systems in private or family‑owned environments.
• Native‑level Arabic fluency and ability to conduct board‑level discussions in Arabic and English.
• Professional designation such as CA, CPA or CFA.
