Finance Director – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

As Finance Director for Faena Wadi Safar, you will be the strategic steward of the project's financial health, guiding pre‑opening and ongoing operations. You will partner closely with the General Manager, senior directors, and owners to translate financial insight into decisions that support artistic vision, operational precision, and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with operational and business objectives.
• Lead pre‑opening financial planning, including budgets, CAPEX allocation, and operational forecasting.
• Establish financial systems, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and readiness for launch.
• Oversee accurate IFRS‑based reporting, Saudi regulatory compliance, tax obligations, and audit requirements.
• Partner with department heads to monitor budgets, cost centers, and performance, driving revenue integrity and expense management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of precision and transparency.

Required profile

• Senior finance leader with experience in luxury hospitality, resorts, or complex mixed‑use developments.
• Proven expertise in pre‑opening financial management, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Strong track record of building finance functions, implementing controls, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and support strategic decision‑making.
