Finance Manager

About the role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing the company’s financial and accounting operations, ensuring effective financial planning, reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial control. The role requires strong experience in financial management, preferably within the real estate development and investment sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the company’s real estate development and investment goals.
• Oversee preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, financial statements and provide analysis to senior management.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity and financing requirements to ensure business continuity.
• Supervise accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, fixed assets and compliance with Zakat and tax regulations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and act on audit recommendations.
• Analyze project costs, profitability and evaluate investment opportunities, preparing financial models and recommendations.
• Lead and develop the Finance and Accounting team, identifying resource needs and ensuring performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 8+ years progressive finance and accounting experience, with significant exposure to real estate development and investment.
• Proven leadership experience managing Finance and Accounting teams.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to senior management.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of financial/accounting systems and real estate financial management software.
• Familiarity with Zakat, tax regulations and applicable accounting standards.
