Financial Analysis Specialist

About the role

The Financial Analysis Specialist will provide senior management with accurate and timely financial information to support strategic and operational decisions. This role involves collecting, verifying and analysing data related to investments, capital expenditures, cash‑flow needs and asset sales across the group and its subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, compile and validate financial data from subsidiaries and consolidate it for reporting.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss and cash‑flow reports.
• Conduct KPI, variance and trend analysis to compare actual results against targets.
• Evaluate the financial impact of proposed investments and other transactions.
• Develop and distribute budgeting guidelines and templates, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Monitor and report performance of the group and subsidiaries against budgets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Interpret cost, price, expense and revenue information and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Support continuous improvement of finance processes, policies and systems.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting and performance management.
• Good understanding of finance policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of meeting tight reporting deadlines.
