Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst will support Riyad Bank by conducting comprehensive credit analyses of corporate customers. You will evaluate financial statements, calculate key ratios, and assess cash‑flow health to determine creditworthiness and recommend appropriate credit limits.

Key responsibilities

• Receive credit proposals and related customer information from Corporate Banking relationship managers.
• Collect additional financial data from internal and external sources to build a complete analysis package.
• Arrange financial data in spreadsheets, perform ratio and cash‑flow analyses, and validate risk ratings using the bank’s rating system.
• Conduct sector analysis to understand customer positioning within its industry.
• Communicate findings, creditworthiness assessments, and limit recommendations to relationship managers for inclusion in Credit Application Memoranda.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to best‑practice initiatives.
• Prepare timely and accurate reports in line with Riyad Bank policies and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Preferably holds a professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA.
• 1‑4 years of relevant banking experience, preferably in credit analysis or credit risk management.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
