Financial Control & Reporting Intern

About the role

This internship offers hands‑on experience in financial control and reporting within a dynamic finance team. You will support month‑end and year‑end closing processes, gain exposure to treasury operations, and collaborate with multiple finance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities and execute the financial control checklist.
• Prepare accounting entries, accruals, pre‑payments, provisions and supporting schedules using SAP ERP.
• Support balance‑sheet reconciliations, monitor key balance‑sheet KPIs and perform trial‑balance variance analysis.
• Help compile monthly financial reporting packages, management reports and market‑review presentation decks.
• Participate in treasury tasks such as payment runs, bank reconciliations, cash monitoring and treasury reporting.
• Monitor procurement and corporate card transactions for policy compliance.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury and FP&A teams on reporting and operational matters.
• Prepare audit support schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Extract financial data from SAP ERP for analysis and ad‑hoc finance projects.

Required profile

• Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional finance teams.
