Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to lead the finance function of our hospital group. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, robust accounting processes, and effective budgeting to support the organization’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor budgets, financial performance, and expenditures to support effective financial planning and control.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits and recommend improvements to financial controls and processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA are a plus.
• Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
