Financial Reporting Assistant Manager

About the role

FlyAkeed is seeking a Financial Reporting Assistant Manager to lead the preparation, analysis, and review of its financial reporting activities. The role ensures compliance with IFRS/GAAP, internal policies, and reporting requirements while providing insightful analysis to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial reporting data.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reporting packages.
• Review accounting treatments for compliance with IFRS/GAAP and company policies.
• Coordinate with internal finance teams and external auditors to address reporting requirements and audit queries.
• Support year‑end closing and timely completion of reporting activities.
• Analyze financial results, variances, trends, and KPIs, delivering insights to management.
• Develop financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses as needed.
• Identify reporting risks and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare presentations and financial analysis for senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8‑12 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, or financial management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience at a leading audit firm.
• Strong background in Financial Management & Valuation (FM&V) preferred.
• Proven experience working with external auditors and managing audit requirements.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP reporting principles.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP or financial reporting systems.
• Financial analysis and modeling capabilities.
