Fire & Rescue Operations Officer

About the role

Support the operational readiness and response capabilities of the Fire and Rescue Services by assisting in training, maintenance, and emergency response activities. Ensure compliance with established protocols and standards to maintain a high level of preparedness and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring readiness for fire, rescue, hazmat, and medical emergencies through training, communication, and maintenance management.
• Monitor and control operational activities in line with GACA regulations, following all protocols accurately.
• Execute operational plans from the FRS Maintenance and Training Teams and provide feedback on challenges.
• Coordinate with DACO departments and external emergency services to maintain fire safety across KFIA areas.
• Participate in maintenance of special response equipment, vehicles, fire station buildings, and communication devices.
• Report safety or protocol breaches, maintain accurate records of training, maintenance, and emergency actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3‑4 years of experience in fire and rescue operations, emergency response, or a related field.
• Preferred certifications: Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
