Fire Technician – Onsite Fire Fighting & Alarm Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Fire Technician to perform inspection, testing and maintenance of onsite firefighting equipment, fire alarm and gas detection systems across our Jubail and Yanbu sites. The role ensures all safety systems operate reliably and comply with NFPA and local regulations, protecting lives and property.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and functional tests of fire fighting equipment, fire alarm panels, smoke detectors and gas detection devices.
• Record findings, recommend improvements and carry out preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning and part replacement.
• Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance to restore any malfunctioning systems.
• Install and commission new firefighting equipment, alarm and gas detection systems according to project specifications.
• Prepare and submit detailed inspection and maintenance reports.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers and project teams to meet deadlines.
• Communicate system status and maintenance requirements to clients.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Electrical, Electronics or a related technical field.
• Proven experience installing and maintaining fire alarm and gas detection systems.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
