Fleet Coordinator - Site

About the role

ABIS is looking for a proactive Fleet Coordinator to manage and oversee the daily operations of its vehicle fleet at project sites. The role coordinates vehicle allocation, ensures timely maintenance, monitors driver performance and keeps accurate fleet records, working closely with site management to optimise fleet use while meeting safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule the deployment of fleet vehicles to meet project and operational needs
• Monitor and ensure timely maintenance and servicing of all vehicles
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance and inspections
• Manage driver assignments, monitor performance and ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for fleet needs
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations and transportation laws
• Generate regular reports on fleet operations and performance metrics

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a related field preferred
• 3-5 years' experience in fleet management or coordination, preferably in construction or oil & gas
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and safety standards
• Valid driving licence is an advantage
