Food & Beverage Internship

About the role

SLS The Red Sea, a luxury lifestyle resort on the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia, is looking for an enthusiastic Food & Beverage intern. The role suits hospitality students who want hands-on experience in a luxury resort, with exposure to restaurant and bar operations and service skills.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and create memorable dining experiences
• Work across restaurants, bars, in-room dining and other F&B outlets depending on departmental needs
• Support daily service operations such as restaurant preparation, table settings, order taking and food and beverage service
• Learn SLS brand standards and assist guests with menus, ingredients, beverages and service techniques
• Anticipate guest needs and collaborate with culinary and other hotel departments
• Learn restaurant operations, service sequences, hygiene standards and food safety practices
• Maintain high standards of grooming, cleanliness and attention to detail
• Take part in training, development and learning opportunities

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism or a related field
• Passion for hospitality and guest relations
• Positive attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn
• Team player comfortable in a dynamic, multicultural environment
• Good organisational skills and flexibility to work across different shifts
• Previous hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential

Required skills

• Strong communication skills in English
• Proficiency in Arabic is an asset
