Forklift & Reach Truck Operator

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Forklift & Reach Truck Operator to safely move, store, and retrieve raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods across our warehouse and production areas. The role requires strict adherence to safety, food‑handling, and inventory‑control standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklifts and high‑reach trucks to unload inbound shipments, load outbound vehicles, and transport materials to production staging areas.
• Scan pallets and place them in designated rack locations using the Warehouse Management System (WMS), following FEFO protocols and verifying lot numbers and pallet condition.
• Perform daily pre‑operational safety inspections, log checks, and basic equipment maintenance such as battery charging and fluid top‑ups.
• Maintain cleanliness of aisles, racks, and dock areas to meet GMP and HACCP standards, and report spills or equipment failures promptly.
• Work safely in ambient, chilled, and cold‑storage environments without compromising temperature control.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Heavy Equipment Operator License and certified Forklift & Reach Truck Driving Permit.
• 2–3 years of experience operating forklifts and reach trucks in a fast‑paced warehouse or food‑manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work comfortably in cold‑storage environments and at height.
