Founding Sales Manager, KSA

About the role

Alan is building its first-ever sales presence in Saudi Arabia and is looking for a Founding Sales hire in Riyadh. You will be the flag-bearer for the company in KSA, shaping how it sells, who it sells to and how it builds relationships with employers who want to offer their employees a great health experience. The role is for someone who wants to write the playbook rather than follow a pre-built one.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, discovery, demo, offer building and closing.
• Educate prospects, run product demos and onboard key stakeholders.
• Apply the Alan Smart & Soft selling method, combining instructive product knowledge with a personalised, high-touch approach.
• Build the local presence with HR Directors, CFOs and C-level executives.
• Share market intelligence, prospect feedback and local insights with product and strategy teams.
• Help shape the sales function in KSA, setting rituals, tools and standards.
• Position Alan as a trusted health partner for Saudi employers and contribute to global playbooks.

Required profile

• Legal right to work in KSA, based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh.
• Saudi citizenship.
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in tech or SaaS, with prospecting, closing and deal-building.
• Highly autonomous, able to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Native or fluent Arabic, with strong written and spoken English.
• Analytical, organised, empathetic and motivated by impact rather than commissions.
