Fraud Analyst

About the role

Group-IB is looking for a Fraud Analyst to join its global cyber‑crime prevention team. You will work on real‑time investigations of online fraud, develop detection methods and support customers using the Fraud Protection Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze suspicious events and user sessions to identify fraud behavior.
• Leverage the latest fraud‑detection technologies and propose new detection methods.
• Contribute to the development of a digital identity protection system.
• Prepare detailed fraud activity reports and conduct research on malicious campaigns.
• Assist customers with fraud analysis, investigations, and platform usage.

Required profile

• Strong communication, presentation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent analytical skills and solid computer literacy.
• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering or a related field.
• Experience working with databases and basic knowledge of web and mobile application technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with data‑analysis libraries such as pandas and NumPy.
• Knowledge of SQL or other database systems.
• Basic understanding of JavaScript.
• Familiarity with machine‑learning concepts.
• Ability to create visualisations using Plotly, Dash or Matplotlib.
