Front Desk Agent

About the role

The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for guests at our luxury property in AMAALA. You will ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, handle payments, and provide accurate information about the hotel and local attractions.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest reservations, assign rooms, and issue room keys.
• Handle all payment types, including cash, checks, debit and credit cards.
• Manage check‑outs, resolve disputed charges, and run daily arrival/departure reports.
• Answer guest calls, record requests, and coordinate with Housekeeping for room readiness.
• Provide parking instructions, dispatch bell or valet staff, and supply directions to local points of interest.
• Complete cashier, closing, and bank‑drop reports in accordance with accounting policies.
• Follow safety, security, and appearance standards while maintaining confidentiality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; entry‑level candidates are welcome.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Professional appearance and clear, courteous communication.

Required skills

• Cash handling and basic accounting procedures.
• Experience with reservation or property management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar computer applications.
