Front Desk Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Front Desk Manager leads the Front Desk operation at Rosewood Red Sea, ensuring a seamless, personalized guest experience from arrival to departure. This role oversees a team of supervisors, agents, and night staff while upholding Rosewood, Forbes, and LQA brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily Front Desk activities, managing arrivals, in‑stay service, and departures.
• Supervise Front Desk staff, ensuring consistent service and operational discipline.
• Maintain a visible presence during peak periods to support guest flow.
• Review daily arrivals, VIPs, room assignments, and special requests, updating guest profiles in the PMS.
• Handle escalated guest concerns, ensuring timely recovery and closure.
• Coordinate with Guest Relations, Concierge, Butler Services, Housekeeping, Engineering, Transportation, Spa, and F&B for a seamless journey.
• Oversee cashiering, float management, billing accuracy, and end‑of‑shift procedures.
• Monitor rate application, package inclusions, and folio accuracy to prevent revenue leakage.
• Prepare schedules, conduct briefings, coaching, and on‑the‑job training.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and development of Front Desk associates.
• Cover Duty Manager or Night Manager duties as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in front office or front desk management within luxury hospitality.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage high‑volume guest flow, and deliver service recovery.
• Strong understanding of brand standards (Rosewood, Forbes, LQA) and revenue protection.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
