Fuel Farm Operator

About the role

The Fuel Farm Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient day‑to‑day operation of the airport fuel storage facility. Working under GACA procedures, the role ensures continuous fuel supply to aircraft and maintains accurate inventory records.

Key responsibilities

• Receive fuel deliveries from pipelines, tanker trucks or marine vessels.
• Monitor tank levels, record inventory and manage fuel transfers between storage tanks.
• Operate valves, pumps and control systems in accordance with GACA safety and operational guidelines.
• Support aircraft fueling operations and respond to alarms or operational issues.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment, maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Document operational data and maintain logs for regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• 2‑3 years of experience in fuel operations or a related industry.
• Basic understanding of fuel handling, storage and GACA safety regulations.
• Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends, and obtain airside clearance.
• Valid driver’s licence.
