Gas Analyzer Technician

About the role

The Gas Analyzer Technician is responsible for maintaining and servicing quality analyzers both in the workshop and on‑site. The role supports the development of standard maintenance procedures, maintenance strategies, and spare‑part inventories to ensure reliable analyzer performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks on quality analyzers following established Standard Maintenance Procedures.
• Develop and update maintenance procedures and strategies, including spare‑part requirements.
• Record all maintenance activities accurately in checklists and ensure proper housekeeping after each job.
• Respond to normal and emergency operational and maintenance calls, including on‑call duties.
• Provide feedback to the Quality Supervisor on any findings, abnormalities, or improvement opportunities.
• Attend all scheduled on‑the‑job and classroom training sessions.
• Ensure compliance with SABIC GAS policies, OMS procedures, SHE targets, and ISO‑certified quality standards.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to follow safety and quality procedures in an industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation and housekeeping.
• Willingness to work on‑call and handle emergency situations.
• Effective communication with supervisors and team members.
