General Assembly Quality Manager

About the role

The General Assembly Quality Manager will lead quality operations across Lucid’s vehicle assembly plants, ensuring that built‑in quality principles are embedded at every stage of production. This highly visible position combines cross‑functional leadership, quality system implementation, and hands‑on control‑point management to drive product excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor strategic Control Points within General Assembly manufacturing operations.
• Build, coach, and sustain a high‑performing team focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Define, track, and act on Control Point KPIs to ensure robust problem‑solving and achievement of quality goals.
• Champion safety, quality, and operational excellence throughout the organization.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, workstation layouts, and ergonomic standards aligned with quality requirements.
• Create comprehensive training programs for supervisors and inspectors.
• Drive defect containment, escalation, and resolution processes, linking issues back to their origin.
• Specify and deploy tooling, equipment, and inspection systems to meet current and future quality assurance needs.

• Proven experience leading quality functions in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
