General IT Services General Manager

About the role

The General IT Services General Manager will lead the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and documentation of software modules, while ensuring day‑to‑day operational support for parts applications. This senior position reports to senior leadership and oversees the functional operation of IT services across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse complex technical issues and provide recommendations requiring high technical competency.
• Design, document and code program logic, system flow and related documentation.
• Deliver technical training, create SOPs and guide business clients and end‑users.
• Provide application support, enhancements and define system requirements, priorities and alternatives.
• Participate in developing business processes, data models, system design, disaster‑recovery planning and data conversion requirements.
• Prepare and review detailed project plans, conduct impact analyses and monitor project progress.
• Ensure high‑quality, high‑performance software development compliant with architecture standards.
• Gather, document and prioritize business, technical and process requirements, defining acceptance criteria.
• Respond to user calls from wholesale clients, clarify issues and deliver solutions.

Required profile

• Strong technical competency with experience in software analysis and development.
• Proven ability to lead complex programming tasks and manage project delivery.
• Experience providing technical training and creating operational documentation.
• Capability to work with business stakeholders to define and prioritize requirements.
