General Manager - Risk Management

About the role

The General Manager – Risk Management will support the company’s Risk Team in planning, designing and implementing an enterprise‑wide risk management system. The role works across strategic business units (SBUs) to align risk initiatives with the organization’s risk maturity model and annual risk calendar.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing the annual risk management plan and risk calendar in coordination with SBU risk teams.
• Provide technical advice, frameworks, tools and training to SBU risk teams on risk assessment, treatment, reporting and monitoring.
• Facilitate risk assessment workshops to identify, analyze and evaluate risks, defining inherent, residual and target risk levels.
• Lead risk treatment sessions to review existing controls, propose new mitigation plans and monitor implementation progress.
• Co‑develop standard risk reporting formats and monitor risk profiles and control action plans across SBUs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field; professional qualifications such as ICERM, CRMA, PECB ISO Senior Lead Risk Manager or GRC Certificate are preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in governance, risk and compliance, with a strong focus on enterprise risk management.
• Demonstrated knowledge of international standards such as ISO 31000, COSO ERM, King Code IV, ISO 37301 and AML regulations.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of ISO 31000 and COSO ERM frameworks.
• Familiarity with compliance standards including ISO 37301 and AML requirements.
