Giga Projects Director - Account Management

About the role

Carrier, a global provider of HVAC, refrigeration, fire, security and cold chain solutions, is hiring a Giga Projects Director in Riyadh. The role is for an experienced account management professional who oversees and takes part in account management and customer relationship management processes, representing the company's interests and building business relationships to improve account performance.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and suggest products and services, driving customer satisfaction through the sales process
• Carry out business development activities for the account management teams across different customer segments
• Work with the team on major projects and develop and promote new customer leads
• Build personal relationships with prospective accounts, develop customer presentations and generate new business while growing existing accounts
• Meet sales and order forecasts and goals, increase market share and follow up quotations, pricing and payment terms with customers
• Coordinate with factories on pricing, equipment and deliveries, and follow up the full delivery cycle
• Review technical proposals and submittals, prepare project costing, visit customers and attend weekly or monthly sales reviews

Required profile

• 5 to 10 years of experience in the HVAC business or related fields, with a focus on major projects
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic
• Proven sales track record in the Saudi market
• Dynamic, passionate about sales and customer-oriented

Required skills

• Good knowledge of the business market in KSAD
• High level of planning and organization
• Customer-focused, voice-of-the-customer approach
