Global Account Manager – Energy & Utilities (EMEA)

About the role

We are looking for a world‑class sales professional to join AWS Industries (AWSI) as a Global Account Manager for a leading Oil & Gas company. You will own the commercial strategy for both Upstream and Downstream operations across the EMEA region, driving cloud, AI, migration and cybersecurity initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Upstream and Downstream commercial strategy, creating pipeline, closing deals and achieving revenue targets.
• Build and maintain CXO‑level relationships with senior executives in the customer’s operational, Upstream, Downstream and Digital Transformation teams.
• Drive co‑sell motions with Industry Vertical Vendors, unlocking revenue through partner‑led migrations and SaaS deployments on AWS.
• Lead strategic engagements on AI, migration, modernization and cybersecurity use cases.
• Coordinate quarterly business reviews, align internal AWS resources and represent AWS at industry and government events in Saudi Arabia.
• Monitor competitive dynamics and position AWS as the strategic cloud and AI platform for the customer’s operational technology environment.

Required profile

• Proven senior sales experience in cloud, AI or digital transformation, preferably within the Energy & Utilities sector.
• Demonstrated ability to influence C‑level executives and manage complex, multi‑year accounts.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional AWS teams and external partners.
