About the role
The GM Advisor provides strategic consultancy to drive the main objectives of a public administration authority. The role ensures that projects, initiatives, and performance frameworks are aligned with the authority’s strategic plan and that outcomes are measured accurately.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise analysis and improvement of public administration services, identifying development opportunities.
- Contribute to the internal affairs work plan and ensure alignment with the authority’s strategy.
- Develop and align operational plans with business and strategic plans.
- Provide recommendations for new business opportunities and service expansion to increase beneficiary satisfaction.
- Implement plans, monitor progress, and supply inputs to achieve planning and development objectives.
- Review reports, identify challenges, and advise on future initiatives.
- Discuss budget requirements with senior management and ensure optimal use of the planning and development budget.
- Validate initiatives that deliver positive financial results and mitigate risks.
- Follow SOPs, support less‑experienced teams, and escalate complex issues when necessary.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Sciences, Management and Organization or equivalent (required).
- MBA or Executive Management degree preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience; 8 years preferred.
- Proficiency in collaboration, communication, customer focus, change enablement, professionalism, and results orientation.
