Goods Receiving Inspector

About the role

The Goods Receiving Inspector ensures that all incoming materials meet the required quality, quantity, safety and regulatory standards. The role supports the supply‑chain integrity by performing inspections, documenting findings and coordinating corrective actions with procurement, logistics and quality teams.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming goods against purchase orders, specifications, drawings and quality standards.
• Verify quantity, condition, labeling and supporting documentation such as certificates and delivery notes.
• Document and report non‑conforming materials and assist in corrective‑action coordination.
• Maintain accurate receiving, inspection and non‑conformance records in ERP or related systems.
• Conduct basic workplace safety and quality inspections, reporting incidents, near‑misses and hazards.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Procurement, Logistics and Quality departments to ensure smooth receiving processes.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemistry or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in goods receiving, quality inspection or QHSE within manufacturing, aerospace, defense or similar environments.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Good written and spoken English and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
