Government Relations Officer

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Government Relations Officer to manage all governmental procedures, licensing requirements, and official communications with regulatory authorities within the real estate sector. The successful candidate will ensure smooth business operations and full compliance by maintaining effective relationships with government entities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and process all government‑related transactions and documentation.
• Handle company licenses, permits, renewals, and regulatory approvals related to real estate activities.
• Coordinate and follow up with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and real‑estate sector requirements.
• Support the company in obtaining approvals for projects, properties, and operational activities.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with government entities and external stakeholders.
• Monitor updates in regulations, policies, and legal requirements affecting the real‑estate sector.
• Prepare official letters, reports, and documentation submissions when required.
• Track deadlines for permits, registrations, and renewals to avoid delays or penalties.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Government Relations, preferably within the real‑estate sector.
• Strong knowledge of licensing procedures, permits, and government regulations.
• Experience dealing with municipalities, regulatory authorities, and official government platforms.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Law, or a related field.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in Government Relations within the real‑estate field.
