About the role
The Government Relations Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating all interactions with regulatory authorities, ministries, and other governmental entities. This role ensures timely processing of government services, compliance with regulations, and effective handling of official correspondence.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate government transactions through digital platforms, licensing portals, and regulatory systems.
- Handle incoming and outgoing official correspondence using the Group's correspondence management system.
- Receive, deliver, and manage confidential and urgent communications with government entities while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Conduct visits to government agencies, ministries, and regulatory authorities as required to support business operations.
- Assist in developing, updating, and implementing corporate policies, procedures, and operational protocols to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to government transactions and correspondence.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum three years of relevant experience in government relations.
- Arabic: native proficiency; English: written and verbal proficiency.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong knowledge of government electronic portals and online government services.
