Group Supply Chain Director

About the role

The Group Supply Chain Director will lead the end‑to‑end supply chain function for the organization, ensuring the seamless flow of raw materials, production supplies and finished goods across all business units. Reporting to senior management, the role is responsible for aligning supply chain strategy with the Group’s overall objectives and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies, policies and operational plans that support the Group’s strategic goals.
• Oversee planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, transportation and customs clearance activities.
• Ensure timely availability of materials and products while maintaining quality and supply continuity.
• Manage procurement processes and supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing, quality standards and on‑time delivery.
• Control inventory levels, warehouse operations and stock accuracy, optimizing capacity utilization.
• Monitor and improve logistics and transportation performance, focusing on cost efficiency and resource utilization.
• Track supply chain performance, risks and costs, implementing improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce expenses.
• Lead, develop and motivate the supply chain team, ensuring compliance with company policies, budgets and relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of supply chain experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing large, complex supply chain operations across multiple functions.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning and financial analysis capabilities.
• Excellent command of English for effective communication.
